As a follow-up to the latest meeting of the Chamber of Deputies please find below an overview of new legislative changes.

  1. Compensatory bonus for self-employed persons

Today, the President of the Czech Republic signed a government bill, which prolongs the provision of financial support for self-employed persons for another two periods, namely:

  • the period from May 1st, 2020 to June 6th, 2020 and
  • a period set by a government regulation within the period from June 9th, 2020 to August 31st, 2020, if crisis measures restricting the performance of self-employment persist within this period.
  1. EET (Electronic Sales Registration)

Today, the Chamber of Deputies approved an amendment to the Act on Certain Adjustments in the Area of ​​Sales Registration in connection with declaration of state of emergency, where sales registration entities are not obliged to fulfil obligations under the Sales Registration Act with the exception of the obligation to manipulate with authentication data, a certificate for sales registration and a block of receipts in such a way, which would prevent their misuse, and that until the September 30th, 2020. Furthermore, the subject of sales registration is not obliged to fulfil the registration obligation and the obligation to place an information notice in accordance with the Sales Registration Act until December 31st, 2020.
