David Kouba is an International Counsel with UEPA. David was born in the Czech Republic, but studied law in Germany, where he also started his legal career, after a number of years having spent working as a judge and public prosecutor in the South-German state of Baden-Wurttemberg. David Kouba switched to private practise and joined a leading German commercial law firm that at that time had an office in the Czech Republic (nowadays White & Case). Working in a Berlin business law firm since 2000, he joined our team as International Counsel in 2006.
David Kouba specialises in advising Czech companies from large corporations to mid-sized companies with M&A transactions but also day-to-day business activities in Germany and is an excellent litigation lawyer.
He is fluent in Czech, German, English and French.
