Jan is a Czech national who started his legal career in Germany and gathered further practical experience in the US, Russia, Czech Republic and Benelux. Jan initially settled in London where he worked on various high profile antitrust and financial services at Hausfeld & Co LLP. He then briefly participated in a delicate dispute between an international retail conglomerate and the HMRC at Freshfields before settling inhouse at FinTech company Checkout.com. He then moved to well-known UK law firm Ashfords where he participated on several major English developer projects. Over seven years of experience from UK’s top English/American private practice and in-house environment give Jan a competitive advantage when advising his Central European clients on their international projects.
